Mara Pometti is a data-savvy strategist at the intersection of Al, data journalism, and design. In her current role, she works with organizations to develop enterprise-wide Al strategies by uncovering business opportunities hidden in data through a methodology that she has developed to weave Al into the dynamics that we, as human beings, live every day.

Over the years, she has shaped her human-centered approach to data and algorithms by helping many organizations adopt AI by using human needs as a lens to frame complex analytical problems.

She is the author of the book Artificial Humans —Umani Artificiali. She's a public speaker and an advocate for humanizing AI.

She is a member of the Advisory Board of Moonshot, an independent IT news website. She has lectured at the London School of Economics, Bologna Business School Global MBA, and LUMSA School of Journalism.
