It improves every subsequent execution for that customer, that domain, that procedure. The labs see tokens flowing through their API. They do not see the correction object. All of that lives inside the customer's perimeter. The system gets better at serving each customer through a data stream that is invisible to the model provider. The labs can improve the model. Edit magnitude decreases. The system converges toward the expert's judgment. This configuration state is specific to that customer's security boundary, compliance requirements, and organizational structure. This state can only be learned from inside the perimeter. A forward-deployed engineering team accumulates this understanding over the pilot and beyond. Every week inside the perimeter produces knowledge about that customer's environment that makes the deployment harder to replace and easier to expand. This is not a switching cost you engineer. It is a switching cost created by the physics of where the work happens. Cloud-hosted products cannot learn what they cannot access. ### The capture window is closing.
